Telehealth Consultations and COVID-19Our Practice strives to care for all of our patients, some of which are immunocompromised and at increased risk of complications from infection with COVID-19. We ask that if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious illnesses that you do not attend our rooms. Please contact our practice and we can discuss with you whether a telehealth consultation might be appropriate or if we should reschedule your appointment.
Whilst face to face consultations are generally our preference, in some instances a Telehealth appointment may be suitable. To be able to use this service and obtain a Medicare rebate for the consultation (where applicable), these consultations must be done via a video link rather than by telephone. Please discuss with our admin team whether a Telehealth consultation would be suitable for you. If a physical examination is required a Telehealth consultation may not be appropriate and we may need to reschedule your appointment.
